When you support Cultivate, we in turn support our local community by donating 5% of our profits to the Farm to Keiki Preschool Program.

Farm to Keiki provides early childcare educators with the tools needed to integrate gardening and nutrition education into their curriculum throughout the entire school year. The program influences life-long healthy habits and increases the availability of local fresh fruits and vegetables in school meals and snacks by introducing the following into the school environment:

• Local Food Purchasing
• Weekly Gardening and Nutrition Curriculum
• School Gardens and Farm Field Trips
• Parent and Caregiver Workshops
• A Wellness Policy

Farm to Keiki is the first of its kind in Hawai‘i, and was piloted in 19 preschools on Kaua‘i in 2011-2012. The program will be available to all Hawai‘i schools in late 2014
